Freedom—Rhythm—Time: ZeroOne meets TaKeTiNa
28th October to 1st of November – 5-day workshop
“Everything in the universe has a rhythm, everything dances”   Maya Angelou

Two complementary practices, one anchored in embodied structured rhythms, and the other in the spontaneity of movement improvisation, share a common foundation in the profound art of presence. Combined, they serve as a potent catalyst, inviting participants to delve deep into the intricacies of their learning process, unravel the impediments to personal and creative evolution, and open a pathway to heightened states of inspiration and creativity.

ZeroOne: a movement practice that weaves together the wild fullness and love of life through the body with the utterly empty freedom of awareness itself, bringing up all that is not fully alive or free in the process and integrating that back into the whole experience of self.

TaKeTiNa: an active rhythm meditation, where the body becomes the instrument, and guided rhythm journeys invite states of timelessness and deep rhythmic flow, creating an exhilarating inner silence as well as a wellspring of musical creativity.

Following two highly successful workshop events in Durbey, Belgium and Melbourne, Australia,  Adam Barley and Tania Bosak come together to offer another fusion of their creative practice.

Accompanied by live and recorded music,  Adam and Tania effortlessly meld their distinct methodologies, each designed to unlock the doors of creative consciousness and invigorate artistic endeavours across a spectrum of disciplines.

This workshop invites a diverse audience, including dancers, movement practitioners, musicians, and actors who move. It represents a one-of-a-kind platform for practitioners across various art forms and skill levels to explore their areas of focus and artistic boundaries.

Adam Barley is the founder of ZeroOne, a creative movement meditation practice. He began studying healing and meditation in the early ’80s, training with Gabrielle Roth in the ’90s to teach the 5Rhythms. He has built a world-wide reputation for powerfully transformative embodiment work, launching ZeroOne in early 2019. “I’m a big cat hunter and a butterfly with a broken wing, with a teaching style that tends to both depth and vulnerability. I have faith in us human beings, and am passionately committed to being part of the evolutionary jump we are engaged in.”
