TaKeTiNa Rhythm Process – GHENT 2027
A weekend of rhythm, presence, and reconnection
3–4 April 2027
with Tania Bosak & Lothar Berger
Sometimes the most important movement is not forward —
but back into connection with ourselves.
Back into the body.
Back into listening.
Back into rhythm.
This weekend in Ghent is an invitation into the TaKeTiNa Rhythm Process — a unique and deeply immersive approach to rhythm developed by Reinhard Flatischler.
Through voice, stepping, and clapping, TaKeTiNa opens a space where rhythm is no longer something we “perform,” but something we physically experience and embody.
The process is simple, accessible, and surprisingly profound.
No musical experience is needed.
Rather than trying to “get it right,” participants are invited to relax into the experience — to listen, lose the rhythm, find it again, and gradually discover a deeper sense of flow and inner organisation.
Again and again, the rhythm brings us back.
WHAT IS TaKeTiNa?
TaKeTiNa is an embodied rhythm process practiced internationally for over 50 years.
Working with layered rhythmic cycles, the process gently challenges our habitual ways of controlling, thinking, and holding ourselves together.
As we move through different rhythmic patterns, something begins to shift:
- the nervous system settles
- attention widens
- the body becomes more present
- listening deepens
- new levels of ease, creativity, and resilience emerge
Many people experience the work as both energising and deeply restorative — a kind of moving meditation created through rhythm and group connection.
THE WEEKEND OFFERS
- immersive group rhythm journeys
- nervous system regulation through rhythm and repetition
- grounding through movement and voice
- expanded awareness and listening
- increased ease with complexity and change
- deep rest and renewal
- joy, connection, and shared human experience
